Global environmental and emission drivers require gas engine OEMs to look at ways to make engine designs more efficient. Current industrial engine technology and design has led to much higher temperatures on pistons than in previous engines, with the latest high BMEP engines made with steel pistons as opposed to traditional aluminium.
HDAX 9300 SAE 40 is a premium performance, medium ash dispersant/detergent type gas engine oil. It is designed for low oil consumption with high BMEP engines, and to provide the required oil drain intervals in line with engine service intervals, thus helping to reduce maintenance costs and allow for longer uptime to assist profitability.
Approval update
We are pleased to announce that HDAX 9300 SAE 40 is now approved by MWM and Caterpillar for use in MWM (Caterpillar Energy Solutions) TCG Gas Engines and Caterpillar CG Series gas generator sets.
